DECENTRAL is not run by one person or owner but by a group of dedicated forward thinkers who work to create an amazing camp. We have committees that ensure each project and area of our camp is awesome.
For it to work, everyone must be willing to get involved and take ownership of successful planning, execution, management, and enjoyment.
✦ Don't be a freeloader
Embrace the Burning Man Principles and participate in our camp's build, operations, and/or strike. Everyone must do their part in making our camp a success. We do day shifts, so expect to to take one day to focus on making our camp run and give our gifts to the Playa, so that you can enjoy the rest of the burn with no other schedules holding you back.
✦ Pay camp dues
DECENTRAL has camp dues of $1100-$1500 (sliding scale) paid in stable crypto currencies. Dues go up if paid late. Camp dues cover food, water, electricity, decorations, design, Burning Man fees, storage of materials, camp infrastructure, and more! Every dollar is spent on making the camp amazing.
BlockHaus is our sister art car support camp, we used to share infrastructure and gifts with them on Playa, but now they moved to Esplanade for easier fuel deliveries and other obvious reasons!
The mutant vehicle is effectively a 3-story building on wheels covered in LEDs, with a stellar DJ Booth just outside an elevated Steam-room and a shower.
Every night at dusk, BlockHaus will set sail onto the Playa, in search of a place to park, party and steam! It will be one of those bright objects shooting fire in the distance that people see and go “Wow! What is that? Let’s go check it out!
They have effectively spun out of DECENTRAL, but on good terms! Make sure to find them on Playa to enjoy wild naked steam room parties on BlockHaus every night!
This year we are going to share infrastructure with the Cold Yogis! We will work together to produce our gifts and share all our meals together.

Willing to use cryptocurrency as the medium of exchange for paying dues and receiving expense reimbursements? We use it to facilitate all transactions within the camp.
